As you may know, although my lack of posts lately would make it nearly impossible, my commuter bike is still outta commission. It hasn’t been a huge problem because I’ve put an extra rack on my road bike along with a very generous GF to provide pickups and her car when required.

But as I watch the snow lightly accumulate from the warmth of a commuter train car, I realize that my road tires won’t cut it in this slushy mix. I slide around in the rain never mind this crap.

It looks like I’m going to have to try my first zip tie adventure this week as I really have no choice.

We’ll see how it goes!
