Shaking hands and kissing babies!

CarFreeBrad is going big time, at least in my little political circles.  I’m on the train out of Union Station now heading to meet Gov.Patrick and Mayor Menino.  I’m sure it’s one of those events where they each speak then get immediately whisked away to the next event of the day.  Who knows, maybe I’ll score a handshake and some face time.

Full disclosure, the event has nothing to do with CarFreeBrad and for a few hours CarFreeBrad.com will have to take a backseat to Freight Farms.  It’s the MassChallenge 2012 Launch event.  Freight Farms is considering applying for a spot in the MassChallenge competition this year and I’ve been invited to attend this event to represent us.

I figure any opportunity to hobnob with some Massachusetts bigwigs is a good thing not only for Freight Farms but CarFreeBrad as well.

PS-  Today a 90 minute train ride is much preferred to a 45 min death-defying bike ride!
