I posted this yesterday on CarFreeBrad.com’s facebook page because I wanted to get it out there ASAP.

First of all, I did not make this video that needs to be clear.  After a few nervous phone calls, I realized that a few people saw this and become concerned for my safety and wanted to know what the hell I was doing on Mass Ave in Boston!

The commentary on this one seems pretty straightforward.  Bikers need to know their rights because no one else does!  I would be curious to know what the police response would be if these were two drivers. I’m not going to get too deep on my feelings on all this but to say that it seems education is the key to everyone’s safety.  As a driver, I hate bikes and as a biker I hate cars but I understand that we each have equal right to the road and above all else I respect that.  It makes it easier!

I just wish that all drivers, bikers and pedestrians knew the basic rules of the road. 

NOTICE!!!! IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BIKING DON’T BE TURNED OFF BY THIS EXCEPTION TO THE RULE!  99.9% OF THE TIME YOU ARE SAFE AND DRIVERS WILL BE VERY NICE!
