Thanks to the latest in mobile technology, I was able to keep up CarFreeBrad.com whilst frolicking in the vast nature of the Delaware river basin in Upstate NY this past weekend but this week may be a little more difficult.

My beloved grandmother passed away this weekend with services being all this week. Rather than try to be funny today, I thought I would share this picture with you.

This is the first(and I think only Carfreebrad) gift I got when everyone found out I had gone Car Free. While most everyone else I knew was still questioning what I was doing and why, my grandmother had been collecting quarters in this little box so that I would always have bus fare.
